Ju b\u00e4ttre man k\u00e4nner till stocken under hela processen, desto b\u00e4ttre kan man utnyttja dess verkliga v\u00e4rde. Lisker har utvecklat en l\u00f6sning som tar identifieringen av stockar till en ny niv\u00e5 genom att anv\u00e4nda algoritmer som ursprungligen anv\u00e4ndes f\u00f6r DNA-sekvensering.   <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">En id\u00e9 \u00f6ver en kopp kaffe<\/h2>\n\n<p>Programvaruutvecklaren <strong>Oskari Ker\u00e4nen<\/strong> fr\u00e5n Lisker ber\u00e4ttar att id\u00e9n uppstod under en kaffebordsdiskussion d\u00e4r gruppen funderade p\u00e5 hur man kunde koppla ihop stockar p\u00e5 olika m\u00e4tpunkter p\u00e5 ett mer tillf\u00f6rlitligt s\u00e4tt. T\u00e4nk om man kunde skapa en upps\u00e4ttning k\u00e4nnetecken f\u00f6r stockarna som man sedan kunde s\u00f6ka efter i hela stockfl\u00f6det \u2013 lite p\u00e5 samma s\u00e4tt som man skulle s\u00f6ka efter en enskild gen i hela det m\u00e4nskliga genomet. Genom att ge varje stock en identifierare baserad p\u00e5 dess egenskaper skulle man kunna f\u00f6lja dess resa p\u00e5 s\u00e5glinjen tillf\u00f6rlitligt fr\u00e5n en m\u00e4tpunkt till en annan.   <\/p>\n\n<p>Den f\u00f6rsta prototypen testades snabbt, och det uppt\u00e4cktes snart att metoden fungerade utm\u00e4rkt \u00e4ven p\u00e5 s\u00e5glinjen.<\/p>\n\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1280\" class=\"gb-media-afa60505\" alt=\"Oskari Ker\u00e4nen vid sitt skrivbord\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lisker.fi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/tukkien-dna-oskari.jpg\" title=\"stockarnas dna oskari\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.lisker.fi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/tukkien-dna-oskari.jpg 1920w, https:\/\/www.lisker.fi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/tukkien-dna-oskari-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.lisker.fi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/tukkien-dna-oskari-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.lisker.fi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/tukkien-dna-oskari-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.lisker.fi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/tukkien-dna-oskari-1536x1024.jpg 1536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px\" \/>\n\n<p>Programvaruutvecklaren Oskari Ker\u00e4nen.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">De f\u00f6rsta resultaten fr\u00e5n produktionen<\/h2>\n\n<p>L\u00f6sningen testades i produktionsanv\u00e4ndning p\u00e5 en av v\u00e5ra kunders s\u00e5gverk, och de f\u00f6rsta resultaten var lovande: framg\u00e5ngsprocenten f\u00f6r identifiering av stockar mellan olika m\u00e4tpunkter steg till cirka <strong>95 procent<\/strong>, medan tidigare metoder ofta stannade p\u00e5 40-50 procents niv\u00e5. <\/p>\n\n<p>Oskari p\u00e5minner dock om att det inte finns n\u00e5got perfekt system. I detta urval f\u00f6rblev 5% av stockarna utan par, men det viktigaste \u00e4r att ingen felaktig identifiering g\u00f6rs. Om en stock inte hittar en s\u00e4ker match l\u00e4mnas den oparad \u2013 p\u00e5 s\u00e5 s\u00e4tt f\u00f6rblir systemet tillf\u00f6rlitligt i produktionsmilj\u00f6n.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">F\u00f6rdelar som syns p\u00e5 s\u00e5gverken<\/h2>\n\n<p>DNA-kedjning av stockar erbjuder s\u00e5gverken nya m\u00f6jligheter att utnyttja m\u00e4tdata och f\u00f6lja stockar mer noggrant, till exempel: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Identifiering av barkens tjocklek. <\/strong>Barkens tjocklek kan fastst\u00e4llas genom att j\u00e4mf\u00f6ra stockens diameter f\u00f6re och efter barkning. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Synkronisering av stockinformation. <\/strong>Stockar kan identifieras tillf\u00f6rlitligt vid olika m\u00e4tpunkter, \u00e4ven om en stock skulle saknas i mitten. Detta minskar fel och f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttrar analysen.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Datakombination.<\/strong> M\u00e4tdata fr\u00e5n stockar kan anv\u00e4ndas i olika skeden av processen. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Anpassningsbar och kostnadseffektiv l\u00f6sning<\/strong>. Algoritmen anpassar sig till olika m\u00e4tmilj\u00f6er och datak\u00e4llor, vilket g\u00f6r utveckling och implementering kostnadseffektiv. Liskers l\u00f6sning utnyttjar ocks\u00e5 data fr\u00e5n befintliga ProfiScan\u2122-m\u00e4tare och fungerar programvarubaserat utan dyra specialutrustningar eller tunga underh\u00e5llskostnader.   <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">M\u00f6jligheter i framtiden<\/h2>\n\n<p>F\u00f6r n\u00e4rvarande fungerar identifieringen med den nya algoritmen mellan s\u00e5ginmatningen och s\u00e5glinjen. I framtiden \u00e4r avsikten att anv\u00e4nda samma metod l\u00e4ngre in i processen \u2013 m\u00f6jligen \u00e4nda till br\u00e4dorna.  <\/p>\n\n<p>De f\u00f6rsta utvecklingsstegen har tagits snabbt: id\u00e9n togs i bruk i november 2024 och i februari 2025 var algoritmen redan i produktionsanv\u00e4ndning.
